Windows XP SP2 (WXP SP2)has some good security features; however, if you use any special business accountings, e.g. accounting, CRM, etc. you'll want to check with your software vendor prior to installing WXP SP2. In particular, WXP SP2 has some conflicts with anti-virus software and third party firewall software. I would advise checking your anti-virus/personal firewall vendor's site for patches or information related to WXP SP2 and the use of their products. Many of our customers use the Corporate edition of Symantec's anti-virus software because its centralized management and use of ease and Symantec has specified released an update related to WXP SP2.
